Accessible Playground at Canal Way, Reading
A bright play area with plenty of play opportunities
Reading Borough Council wanted a play area that was accessible and offered maximum play value in the space provided. Various playground providers presented their tender to the councillors and an action group called Access and Accessibility Forum, but HAGS’ scheme came out as a firm favourite.
We installed a UniPlay Viking multi-play unit which includes two slides at different heights, a basket swing seat that everyone can enjoy, an inclusive Spinmee roundabout, a DNA climbing structure, plus other various play features.
“In all, my experience with HAGS and practically Jilly has been great. She’s been highly professional from start to finish and gone out of her way to help this project to be delivered.”
George Baptiste, Playground Officer at Reading Borough Council
