Sand play supports children's sensory development and allows them to experiment with basic mathematical concepts such as weight and volume. By digging in the sand and building basic structures they develop fine motor skills and use their creativity. Playing with sand also has proven therapeutic properties. It also complies with the stringent standards of the EN350-2 EU Timber regulation and is classified as class 1, the most solid type of timber.
