The Farmers Arms Public House, St Merryn

The outdoor space at The Farmers Arms public house has been transformed with a project including play equipment, surfacing, fencing and decking. They wanted to provide a great new play area for children to attract and retain more families without losing their capacity for drinkers and diners.

The UniMini Nordon draws attention from passing trade and provides a huge amount of play value designed to keep a large user capacity entertained for longer. The unit incorporates a brightly coloured climbing wall, net climber, scramble net, step climber, crawl tube and stainless steel slide. In addition, features include play panels, a ships wheel, balcony and sand table. EcoMulch safety surface with incorporated graphics completes the play area, offering great durability and requiring no daily maintenance. The decking was refurbished and extended to increase the overall seating footprint and an attractive and functional perimeter fence completed the transformation.

The Licensee, Lisa Clarke was really pleased with her new Play and Seating area. She told they’d received great feedback from their customers and despite being early in the season, they had even seen an impact on their revenues. Lisa particularly liked the number of features on the play equipment and told us children are entertained for hours, not just five minutes!
